| Sarah Elizabeth Clark first appeared on Just Another Sports Show in November of 2006, adding a distinctively feminine element to the program. She was raised in a household where the women lived and breathed football Sunday morning through Monday night, and the men showed no interest in sports. Her mother is a Redskins season ticket-holder, and they attend every home game together. Growing up, Clark participated in soccer, skating, gymnastics, cheerleading, and track, winning many awards and honors along the way. She continued on with cheerleading, track, and gymnastics as a coach and judge for many years, including Osbourn Park High School, Metz Junior High, and Stonewall Middle School. Her competition squads from SMS and OPHS took 3rd and 2nd place, respectively, in major competitions. In 2001, she graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Theatre and Dance. As a student at JMU, she directed eleven major productions and participated in 4 dance companies. Her career has included everything from teaching middle school at SMS, to bartending and running O’Meara’s Restaurant (owned by WJFK’s Mike O’Meara). In 2005 and 2006 she was a finalist in Northern Virginia’s Fastest Bartender contest, raising several thousand dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Currently, she is the Membership Administrator for the Fairfax Education Association. “Miss Clark” (the name stuck with many of her friends from her teaching days) is an avid reader and sports fan. She loves her red 2005 Mustang GT. Her motto is, “The way to a man’s heart may be through his stomach, but the way to this woman’s heart is through a good bottle of scotch.”
